TMJD Explained

Temperomandibular joint disorder, more commonly known as TMD or TMJD, pertains to a variety of conditions that cause jaw pain. The temperomandibular joint connects the lower jaw to the skull. This joint is one of the bodies most complicated, providing both horizontal and lateral movement. Each time you talk, chew, and swallow you use the temperomandibular joint.
