Tension headaches, also referred as stress headaches, are the most common types of headaches among adolescents and adults. It is characterized by the band-like pain, squeezing, tightness or pressure around the forehead which may spread to the back of the head and neck. Most of the victims reported a prevalence of tension headaches in the afternoon or evening. This may be a result of the stressors encountered by the sufferer during the day that has caused built-up of stress.
